About Us

Advanced Simulation for Safer Healthcare

Simulating and training center (STC) is subdepartment working under the academic affairs and training department at Riyadh Hospital. Simulation is now a key tool in healthcare education and certification, allowing medical professionals worldwide to practice skills repetitively with immediate feedback in a safe setting. This learner-centered approach helps trainees identify errors, master complex procedures, and accelerate their learning without risk to patients. Simulation-based training can address individual skills, comprehensive procedures, or team performance in critical care environments like the operating room, ICU, and emergency department.
Building on these principles, the center offers a range of specialized courses designed to meet the evolving needs of healthcare professionals, such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). These programs incorporate the latest advancements in resuscitation science and realistic scenarios to enhance clinical competence, teamwork, and decision-making under pressure. By fostering an environment of continuous learning and skill development, the Simulating and Training Center supports the broader mission of improving patient outcomes and advancing the standards of care across clinical settings.
